Sowing Sovereignty: Growing Seeds and Cultivating Resilience

A full-day, hands-on gathering at the UCSC Hay Barn exploring organic seed growing, selection, cleaning, storage, germination and stewardship. Farmers, gardeners, educators and seed-library organizers will examine seed economics, Indigenous seed-saving practices, biodiversity and community seed sovereignty. The program includes workshops, a farm tour, seed swap, resource fair and panel discussion. Tickets are $75 for students and farmers or $99 general admission.
