24th Street Community Garden Day
Volunteer in the school garden with planting, weeding, harvesting, mulching, watering, pruning and other seasonal projects. All ages and experience levels are welcome; participants under 18 must attend with a parent or legal guardian. Wear closed-toe shoes and school-appropriate comfortable clothing, and bring water and sun protection. Tools, training, light refreshments and water are provided. The event proceeds rain or shine; registration is required.
