The Sikes Adobe Historic Farmstead is a historic resource and California Point of Historic Interest within the San Dieguito River Park. The adobe was built by Zenas and Eliza Sikes around 1870. It offers free Sunday tours (suggested donation $3) and nearby dirt trails for walking. The house museum and exhibits offer a glimpse of what was daily life for American settlers in San Diego County who farmed on land that once belonged to the native Kumeyaay.
