City Farmers Nursery

City Farmers Nursery has been a cornerstone of the San Diego community since 1972, when Bill "Farmer Bill" Tall founded it as a small roadside stand; it has since grown into a 1.5-acre destination offering quality plants and free gardening advice. The nursery carries native plants, edibles, and ornamentals, supports local school gardens, and gives back to local nonprofits. Free events, workshops, soil testing, plant diagnosis, and space planning are offered throughout the year.
