Pumpkins With Purpose

View on map

Give your Halloween pumpkin a second life at Discovery Cube Orange County’s annual Pumpkins With Purpose composting event. Bring your pumpkin to the main parking lot and help keep organic waste out of the landfill. Families can explore hands-on science about composting, fungi, microbes and pumpkin growth; meet event worms; see a real trash truck; and enjoy Eco Challenge demonstrations. Pumpkin donors receive a free child admission coupon with the purchase of an adult admission. The composting event is free to participate; check the official page for current admission, parking and program details.
