Planting Justice is a food-justice nonprofit where visitors shop for edible and native plants, trees, seeds, soil supplies, and value-added foods. Its Oakland nursery also hosts SPARK Seeds, a community seed library created to expand access to culturally meaningful, locally useful seed and growing knowledge. The organization offers community-led urban agriculture, workshops, volunteer opportunities, and other food-justice programs; hours and availability vary by site.
