Join us for a featured speaker discussion! First meeting is free for non-members. San Diego is home to an incredible network of farms, community gardens, local food businesses, and food recovery organizations—yet many residents are unaware of the resources and opportunities right in their own neighborhoods. Discover how stronger hyper-local connections can reduce food waste, improve food security, support local growers, and build more resilient communities. Hear the inspiration behind Lopperly.com, a free, locally developed platform connecting people to their local food ecosystem, and explore practical ways to get involved—from sharing backyard harvests to supporting local businesses, volunteering, and participating in community experiences. Regular Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club meeting focused on food systems and local sustainability. Social time begins at 6:00 PM, club business at 6:30 PM, and the speaker presentation begins at 7:00 PM. Attend in person at Boys & Girls Club of San Dieguito, Harper Cottage, or join online at approximately 6:20 PM. Visitors are welcome; see the official club page for registration and participation details.
